Dr. Steven Sampson

Steven Sampson D.O. is an internationally recognized trailblazer in regenerative medicine, championing natural and non-invasive interventions to address physical injury and pain. Dr. Sampson was among the world's earliest adapters of Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) for musculoskeletal conditions, including authoring research and developing novel clinical applications.

Dr. Sampson compassionately addresses his patients' needs while promoting an ethical, globally collaborative, scientific, and data driven approach. Passionate about setting the highest standards in care, he founded the Orthohealing Center in 2007. A premier clinic in Los Angeles, California, the Orthohealing Center specializes in the delivery of nonsurgical and cell-based medicine to promote vitality and healing.

Dr. Sampson earned his medical degree from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine and served as chief resident during his training at Saint Vincent Medical Center of Manhattan. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and a former Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. Currently he is a Clinical Assistant Professor of physical medicine and rehabilitation at Western University of Health Sciences.

Committed to the advancement of his field, in 2007 Dr. Sampson established the world's first international orthopedic regenerative medicine symposium with cadaver labs: The Orthobiologic Institute (TOBI). This annual, multi-day symposium features the foremost experts from over 40 countries in the treatment of tendon, cartilage, and spine disease. Dr. Sampson also co-created TOBI Networks, an initiative dedicated to promoting digital education, data collection, and physician mentorship.

Dr. Sampson is a medical consultant for the Los Angeles Lakers, Clippers, Dodgers, Sparks, as well as USC, and UCLA Athletics, among other organizations across the United States. Dr. Sampson is an Emeritus Board Member of the Arthritis Foundation. He has authored over 35 peer-reviewed research articles and textbook chapters. He has presented over 40 lectures on his craft at illustrious institutions including the: United Nations in Geneva, United States Congress on Capitol Hill, and Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.
